Empowering Women in West Bengal
IIP Foundation has distributed 33 sewing machines to the women to make then self sustainable for their monthly earnings to run their families. Post pandemic, they lost their jobs and the larger impact came on their children’s education. As per the data by UN millions have dropped their schools as they didn’t have enough money to pay fee and money for learning through smartphones and internet services.Women in India learn skills from their childhood that saves their lives. Here IIP Foundation came to help and provided 33 sewing machines to the needy women. It is to mention that the monthly income from sewing machines is ₹8000 to ₹10000 per month that is basic but good to run their household expenses. We thanks each of our donors who have made this possible.
