IIP SUPPORTS AND CELEBRATES WOMEN’S EXCELLENCE DAY-2013, HELD AT THE MONTENEGRO CONSULATE
Venturing into the varying walks of life other than imparting photography education, Indian Institute of Photography became a part of women’s Excellence Day celebrations on 14-09-2013 at the Montenegro Consulate in New Delhi.
This unique concept of honoring the women of substance was developed to celebrate women excellence and dependency of women to sustain life in economic, social and political fields over the years, and honoring them for outstanding performance with the highest standards of dedication in different walks of life. The socially relevant concept of ‘GIFT a TREE’ to relate Women and Trees for sustainability of life was one of the prime activities.
Organized by Media Vision Infotainment, IIP extended its support to the initiative wholeheartedly and one of the privileged IIPians Ms. Kanika Makkar was honored by Her Excellency for her outstanding participation. On this occasion, Mr. Rajesh Goyal, Director IIP gifted each and every woman achiever with exclusive IIP merchandise.
Mr. Goyal and The Consulate Officials also had a detailed and futuristic discussion about how both the bodies can explore opportunities in the world of photography together in the country and other parts of the globe. This discussion led to some fruitful developments to be executed in the times to come with proactive involvement of IIPians.
The dignitaries, guests and all attending the event showered great praise and applause upon IIP for setting new benchmarks in photography education. This was really a place where IIP’s innovative initiatives and efforts in photography education were recognized and respected.
